The story
This is a wonderful vintage Mid-Century Chinoiserie tea tin canister table lamp featuring a high-quality upcycled English lithographed tea tin.
The tin graphics depict detailed Asian figural garden scenes, including figures seated under cherry blossom trees and women under pomegranate trees, bordered by gold Greek key/meander geometric bands with red medallions.
The top of the tin includes gold crane/heron motifs.
The electrical hardware includes a quality Leviton brass socket shell and a vintage Underwriters Laboratories (UL) portable lamp sticker with Issue No. E-24158.
