The story
This is a beautiful, large-format vintage mid-century color lithograph titled "Praying Clown" by artist H. Garin (Henri Garin).
This charming circus-themed piece features a rich, soft pastel-manner texture depicting a kneeling clown in a yellow patterned costume interacting with a young performer in a vibrant turquoise-blue dress, set against a bustling circus tent background.
This piece is wonderfully documented and comes complete with its original vintage Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from California Auction Services pasted on the back backing board.
Pre-owned condition with scattered brown spotting and age-related discolouration visible on the print and mat.
The frame shows surface wear and marks to the finish, and the paper backing has wear. Signed and numbered 189/250, with the California Auction Services certificate attached to the reverse.
The artwork has not been examined outside the frame. Please review all photographs carefully for condition details.
