The story
Theses are a gorgeous, matching pair of Vintage Mid-Century Italian Florentine Wood Wall Plaques. Handcrafted in Italy, these decorative plaques perfectly capture the romantic, old-world elegance of the Hollywood Regency and traditional European design eras.
Each piece features a vibrant, Flemish-style classical botanical floral print decoupaged onto a shaped wooden panel.
The artwork surface has been finished with a heavy, antiqued crackle glaze (craquelure technique) to evoke the depth and texture of centuries-old European oil paintings.
