The story
Vintage Jonathan Adler ceramic pottery vase featuring a rounded bottle form and deeply textured geometric decoration.
The vase is finished in an earthy brown and olive-toned glaze, with lighter-colored recessed lines forming a striking architectural pattern around the body and cylindrical neck. The dark glazed interior provides a handsome contrast.
The underside bears the circular impressed Jonathan Adler maker’s mark. Based on the design and mark, this appears to be an earlier Jonathan Adler piece, likely dating from approximately the late 1990s to early 2000s. It is Mid-Century Modern in style but was not manufactured during the original mid-century period
