VTG Harry Whyte Australian Studio Pottery Bird Nest Figurine Signed

Highly collectible vintage mid-century Australian studio art pottery figurine by the renowned potter Harry Whyte. Handcrafted from his signature coarse, earthy outback terracotta/stoneware clay, this gorgeous sculpture depicts a stylized songbird perched on a textured tree branch alongside a small hollowed nest cradling three individual clay eggs.

True to Harry Whyte’s celebrated folk-art style, the bird features a high-contrast smooth black slip head glaze, deeply expressive inset amber glass eyes that beautifully capture the light, and hand-carved feather and bark details. The base is clearly incised with his recognizable circular "HW" artist monogram stamp.

Condition:
