Vintage Tilso Japan Lusterware Footed Teacup Saucer Set Iridescent Gold Roses

Mid-century porcelain teacup and matching saucer set imported by Tilso Japan. The set features a gorgeous opalescent mother-of-pearl lusterware finish that catches a beautiful rainbow sheen in the light.

Both pieces are elegantly decorated with vibrant pink, yellow, and red rose floral transfers and finished with an intricate gold filigree overlay and heavy gold gilt rims. The cup sits on a stylish multi-faceted pedestal foot, and the matching saucer features a beautiful reticulated (pierced) lace-style outer rim.
