The story
Up for sale is a fantastic, vintage mid-century 3D cast metal wall plaque depicting the iconic "Spirit of '76" Revolutionary War scene.
This highly detailed plaque features three patriots marching proudly—two drummers and a bandaged fifer playing through the battle.
Most likely manufactured by Sexton in preparation for the 1976 American Bicentennial celebration, this durable piece features a factory-painted matte finish in classic colonial blue, crimson red, forest green, and tan tones.
The back is hollowed out to keep the piece lightweight for safe hanging and includes its original integrated hanging loop at the top center.
