Pair Hand Blown Aqua Green Glass Ewer Carafe Pitchers Applied Handles
$30
One of a kind — adding it to your cart doesn't reserve it until checkout.
The story
A matching pair of hand-blown aqua or seafoam-green glass ewers, carafes, or decorative pitchers.
Each vessel has an elegant teardrop-shaped body, thick circular foot, flared pinched pouring rim, and a substantial applied glass handle. Small bubbles, gentle asymmetry, and subtle differences between the two pieces are characteristic of their handmade construction.
Their soft aqua-green color and rustic handmade appearance make them beautiful for displaying flowers, serving water or wine, decorating a table, or adding to an art-glass collection.
No maker’s marks or labels were found. The manufacturer, country of origin, and exact age are unknown. No stoppers are included; the shaped pouring rims suggest that these were intended as open ewers or carafes.
