The story
A beautiful, meticulously detailed vintage miniature Peruvian pottery nativity diorama, individually handcrafted and hand-painted by the renowned workshop of V. Yuri S.R.L. in Peru.
This traditional piece of Latin American folk art is shaped like a miniature clay vessel, painted with bright floral/geometric designs on the exterior and finished with a striking orange handle.
Tucked inside the hollowed-out cavern is an incredibly detailed, miniature 3D nativity scene.
It features hand-molded clay figures of the Holy Family (Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus under golden halos), and two small nativity animals.
A small loop on the handle allows this gorgeous piece to double as a unique, striking Christmas tree hanging ornament.
The bottom base is perfectly preserved and retains the original authentic studio label reading: "V. Yuri S.R.L. hand made in Perú - Code BG-1".
