The story
A fantastic, highly collectible studio art pottery mug hand-thrown by renowned Louisiana ceramicist Kent Follette.
This piece highlights Follette's signature whimsical style, boasting a fully sculpted 3D fish face protruding from the side profile, an incised tail fin detail, and a comfortable, geometric handle.
The exterior showcases a beautiful matte cream and soft gray finish accented by hand-painted, abstract floral or aquatic brushwork in slate blue, brown, and deep charcoal tones.
It is hand-signed "Follette" on the raw clay base along with an original studio inventory marker ("15.").
A wonderful, artistic addition to any novelty mug collection or studio pottery display!
